" An Overview: IFRS and the IMA"Featuring: Mr. John M. Brausch, CMA, CFM, CPA IMA Chair-Elect The Nation’s Capital Chapter, IMA, is delighted to announce Mr. John M. Brausch, Chair-Elect of the IMA, will join us for an informative evening. Mr. Brausch plans to discuss the International Financial Reporting Standards and insights about his vision and plans for the IMA for the 2009-2010 year. There will be ample opportunity for questions and answers from this key leader in the accounting profession. Mr. Brausch currently serves as a member of the IMA National Board, is chair of its Planning and Development Committee, and is a member of its Governance Committee. Previously, he was chair of the Performance Oversight and Audit Committee. In line with his commitment to the CMA certification program, he is immediate past chair of the ICMA Board of Regents and was a Regent and a member of ICMA’s Exam Review Committee. Prior to and concurrent with his national IMA service, he served as an officer in several Chapter and Council positions for IMA. Mr. Brausch is Vice President, Property Controller, Edens and Avant.
