Current Issues in Government ContractingOVERVIEW Federal government contracting is a constantly changing environment. New rules, laws, regulations and court decisions quickly change the direction of disclosure requirements, government audits and contract and program management. Over the past few years, new laws and regulations have revolutionized the way federal government contractors do business with their government customers. Over the past year, the FAR council has issued numerous regulations with cost implications to government contractors. More new cost related regulations with cost impacts and demands for transparency are up for regulatory review. New Ethics rules on contractors are particularly onerous.
